Regarding Hotel Fauchère. From Hotel Fauchère's Facebook page:
"The Hotel Fauchère is an historic boutique hotel in the heart of Milford, Pennsylvania, just 75 miles from New York City. Originally founded in 1852 and run by the Fauchère family for 124 years until closing in 1976. In 2006, after a painstaking restoration, the hotel reopened to international acclaim, offering 16 guest rooms with marble baths, Frette linens and Kiehl's amenities, two restaurants, a patisserie/cafe and an affiliated day spa. The public spaces in the hotel feature a permanent exhibition of Hudson River School paintings."
