Inscription. Now therefore be it resolved, by order of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, does hereby declare that the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson is "A Purple Heart Village" and in so doing recognizes the dedication and sacrifices of all men and women in the United States Military who have valiantly served their country to protect the freedoms that are a birthright of all Americans.
