Sixth-round pick in 1983 Draft, Burkey combined witn fellow right-handed starter Bill Swift to give Giants dual aces in early 90s. Pennsylvania native had career year in 1993, leading NL pitchers in Wins (22-7), with 3.65 ERA. His .615 Winning Percentage, Career (67-42) ranks in San Francisco Giants All-Time Top Five (3rd).
