1. 1402 Main Street Marker

Inscription. This one story brick building was built circa 1900 and originally had a tall Victorian style covered porch on the front. It was the home of Hamilton Grocery Company for many years in the early 1900's. Simmons Shoe Store operated in this location for a short time. It was later occupied by Riley Clark's Friendly Shoes for several years in the 1950's & 1960's. Robinson Office Products was also in the building in the 1980's & early 1990's.
