In memory of PFC William Naus an Upper Sandusky resident who served his nation in World War I - A member of company A, 146th infantry regiment 37th infantry division, American Expeditionary Force killed in action - France - 26 September 1918

The National Headquorters of the Veterans of Foreign Wars issued a charter for the creation of William Naus VFW Post 2842 on 18 June 1933
