1. Springbrook School Marker
Springbrook School was built in 1921 for grades 1-12, including, until 1939, Alcoa High
School. The school was the City's first major school construction project. Today's park
grounds lying between the concrete pad and the creek were the school's playground. The school building was destroyed by fire in 1968, and only the gymnasium remains.Captions (clockwise from top left)
