1. New Liskeard Library / La bibliothèque de New Liskeard Marker

Inscription. [English] Prior to its present location, the local library had various residencies in the town. The building of the New Liskeard Library was facilitated by a grant of $10,000 from the Andrew Carnegie Library Foundation in 1910. The new library would be a permanent and grand building for the community. The Temiskaming Shores Library now has two branches, one in New Liskeard and one in Haileybury.

La construction de la présente bibliothèque de New Liskeard en 1910 a été rendue possible grâce à un don de 10 000$ de la Fondation Andrew Carnegie. La bibliothèque de Temiskaming Shores a maintenant deux succursales, l'une à New Liskeard et l'autre à Haileybury.
