1. New Liskeard Library / La bibliothèque de New Liskeard Marker
[English] Prior to its present location, the local library had various residencies in the town. The building of the New Liskeard Library was facilitated by a grant of $10,000 from the Andrew Carnegie Library Foundation in 1910. The new library would be a permanent and grand building for the community. The Temiskaming Shores Library now has two branches, one in New Liskeard and one in Haileybury.[Français] Avant d'emménager dans ses locaux actuels, la bibliothèque publique a connu plusieurs demeures. La construction de la présente bibliothèque de New Liskeard en 1910 a été rendue possible grâce à un don de 10 000$ de la Fondation Andrew Carnegie. La bibliothèque de Temiskaming Shores a maintenant deux succursales, l'une à New Liskeard et l'autre à Haileybury.
