World War II Flying Ace Pilot

Capt. Sheldon O. Hall, U.S. Marine Air Corps,
Fighter Squadron VMF 213, Guadalcanal, South Pacific,
Plane F4U-Corsair, flew over 45 combat missions.
On July 18, 1943, his plane was shot down.
He was later awarded the Purple Heart.
