Hagerman Barracks

The barracks quadrangle was constructed in segments from 1909 through 1952, and completely refurbished in 1978. The quadrangle was named for railroad pioneer J. J. Hagerman and his son Herbert J. Hagerman who served as territorial governor of New Mexico from 1906-1907. The NMMI main campus is located on land donated to the territory of New Mexico by the Hagerman family in 1895.
