This pin oak replaces the 200 year old oak that was a sapling when the congregation first met in the Frying Pan Meeting House Baptist Church, 1791.
Planted on Arbor Day, April 26, 1991, in celebration of the centennial of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution by the Freedom Hill Chapter, NSDAR, may this tree mature and give pleasure to future generations.
