Inscription.
The first court held in Pulaski County was in a building known as the James Tiffany House on May 9, 1839, at which term an order was entered adopting the house of Henry Hance (a great grandfather of K.B. Alexander present owner) as a place to hold Court; on the site of which house this monument is erected. This Court was presided over by John M.C. Taylor, Presiding Justice.
