Mable House
After the plantation plain house was completed the old cabin became the Mable School where Robert Mable's daughter Ruth was a teacher. When the school first opened, tuition was 10 cents a week. The school operated until it burned down around 1900. Ruth Mable taught at the Mable School and other schools in Mableton until her death in 1942.
