Regarding Hillsborough County World War I Veterans Memorial. The statue on this monument is not an original Viquesney Doughboy, but a recently cast bronze statue apparently deliberately sculpted to look like E. M. Viquesneys Spirit of the American Doughboy. The sculptor and date the statue was cast is not indicated on the sculpture.
