It consisted of a family business with photographic studios in Barcelona and Madrid....In 1896, the Napoleons acquired a film projector and became the representatives of the Casa Lumière in Barcelona, becoming the first cinematographers in the city. The cinema, called Cinématographe Lumière, with a capacity for about two hundred people, plus fifty preferred seats and located on the ground floor of the family home on the Rambla de Santa Monica, was inaugurated on December 20, 1896. From 1897 to 1905, films were shown at a price of one peseta per session (half an hour). Given the success of his cinema on the Rambla, opened another room in the Paral·lel in 1901 next to the now defunct Café Circ Espanyol.
