1. Lasalle County Courthouse Marker
Inscription.
This courthouse was erected in 1881, 82, 83 being the fourth on this site. The first and second were of wood. The third of brick.

This cornerstone was laid by the Masonic Fraternity July 4, 1881.

The cost of the building was 127,127.01.

These inscriptions were placed on this corner stone by the Order of the Board of Supervisors in 1894.
