His foresight and industry enabled the city of Marysville and its municipal court to acquire and occupy this facility. It symbolizes many accomplishments and tireless effort in public service.

This plaque, in honor of Mayor Thomas O. Nuckles, resided in the former city hall which was located at 125 E. Sixth Street.
