Union Station's Lamp Post Clock
This 1880s iconic clock was originally constructed by the E. Howard Clock Company. By the mid-1880s it sat at the corner of 10th and Main Streets. In 1918, it was moved to 11th and Grand Avenue. Then in 1936, it was moved to Union Station where, for nearly 50 years, it greeted guests.
In 1999, thanks to the Helzbergs, the clock was refurbished, and once again, stood proudly in front of Union Station. In 2015, the clock was severely damaged in a storm and removed for repair.
In 2016, thanks to the Rainens, it was completely restored and relocated to this current location.
