Marceline in Linn County, Missouri — The American Midwest (Upper Plains)
The Disney Family Farmhouse
this home is currently a private residence
"I went with our family to live in Marceline when I was around 4 years old… I clearly remember the day we arrived there on the train. A Mr. Coffman met us in his wagon and we rode out to our house in the country just outside the city limits. I believe it was called the Crane farm. My first impression of it was that it had a beautiful front yard."
Walt Disney
The Disney's 1906 home still comprises the largest section of this current layout. An addition was added in the 1980's to accommodate the needs of its current owner. Great care was taken to not alter the original layout or hand hewn features of the 1906 section of the home.
Erected by Walt Disney Hometown Museum.
