Inscription. Built by the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad - September, 1882.

In continuous use by the W&LE-NKP-N & W Railroads for 92 years. Donated by the Norfolk & Western Railway to the Mad River & NKP Railroad Society-July, 1975.
Relocated from Curtice, Ohio to Bellevue, Ohio by the 612 Engineering Battalion Ohio National Guard-April, 1976.

This depot and surrounding museum is Bellevue's lasting bicentennial year project opened June 1976.
This plaque presented by The Bicentennial Committee & Its Supporters - October, 1976.
