1. Naissance au Procope (Stade Français, in French). The team's origin story, explaining how and why the rugby club came to be.
Excerpt (in translation): "Although the six companions initially agreed on the desire to create an all-sports club mainly focused on running, the emerging craze for a sport from the United Kingdom, "rugby football", then practiced by British students living in Paris - would change the course of history. Fashionable among young English bourgeois and aristocrats, “rugby football” was nothing like the popular sport it had become over time....as the new club was made up of the elite of Parisian youth, the very young club thus naturally oriented itself towards the practice of rugby, then considered the intellectual sport par excellence, a sport for gentlemen."
