Excerpt (in translation): "Monday, August 21, 1944, the Saint-Michel district is transformed into an entrenched camp. The tactic of helping hands is over, now it's barricade warfare. And in fact at the ends of the rue de la Huchette are built two, one of which will be called "the Fort of the Huchette" and commissioned by Mrs. Briant, a baker by trade. It overlooks rue du Petit-Pont. It was on this barricade that Jean Dussarps was killed on August 25, 1944."(Submitted on June 10, 2022.)
