1. The Reeves House Marker
Inscription.
Side A
Built in 1818, the house at 42 N. Broadway is on lot No. 40 of the town's 1802 plat. The land was owned by Ephraim Hathaway, one of Lebanon's founders. That year, 1818, it was sold to John Reeves, the town's recorder and its sixth postmaster. In 1825, future Ohio Gov. Tom Corwin bought it when he was Warren County prosecutor.

Side B
In 1828, it was sold to William Frost who was elected the county coroner several times. It stayed with his family for 80 years. It served as a dwelling for around 150 years. The late 1950's saw it used by the county court and the county building inspector. Since 1975, various insurance and law firms have had offices here.
