1. Barry Sanders Marker

Inscription. Celebrated running back and Heisman Trophy winner Barry David Sanders proved to coaches to coaches he was small but mighty. The 5'8" Sanders spent his first two years at Oklahoma State University playing backup to Thurman Thomas. He left OSU before his senior year and signed with the Detroit Lions in 1989. Sanders delighted fans with his explosive starts, quick stops, flashy plays and sense of humility. He retired in 1999 at age 31, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2004.
