1. Gerald Roberts Marker
Inscription. Twice All-Around World Champion Cowboy Gerald Roberts dazzled the rodeo circuit form the mid-1930s until 1966, beginning at age 13. Altogether he won 67 belt buckles, 16 trophy saddles and was inducted into cowboy halls of fames in Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas, Roberts' events included bull, bareback and saddle bronco riding. In 1955 he became a Hollywood stunt man in television and motion picture westerns. In 2005, Roberts was the only cowboy inducted into the Kansas All-Sports Hall of Fame in Abilene.
