Inscription.
This plaque is to honor Brad Tillson on behalf of the Greater Dayton community for his leadership in planning, organizing, and implementing the Centennial Celebration of Flight. This ambitious effort, which honored Orville and Wilbur Wright on the 100th anniversary of powered flight, took place from July 3-20, 2003. The success of Inventing Flight, Dayton 2003 would not have occurred without Brad's passion and zeal in attracting support and resources from many people and organizations. The legacy of this effort will be a continuing recognition of Dayton as the Birthplace of powered flight.
