Conservation
Habitat loss, hybridization with cattle, and the spread of cattle diseases are threats to their population.

Animal Enrichment:
- Cut trees are providing for "sparring".
- Ice blocks are given to the bison with a variety of food frozen inside to help them cool down on hot summer days.
