Regarding Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Station. The train station was built in 1910 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 19, 1979, Reference No. 79002349. The California Area Public Library was founded in 1935, but moved to its current location in the former train station in 1958. It closed after seven years due to a lack of funding before reopening in 1980.
