Excerpt: "Sachetti was a man of exceptional ability, born on March 17, 1690 in a room of the Savoy residence in Turin, a city where he developed professionally, being a disciple of Juvarra, the architect of the first Madrid Royal Palace project. Queen Isabel de Farnesio, faced with the sudden death of her architect, Juvarra, commissioned the Spanish ambassador to bring to Spain his most outstanding disciple from Turin, Giovanni Battista Sachetti, who arrived in the company of his brother Carlos, a military architect, on the 26th of April 1736, since he was going to be the general manager of the works.(Submitted on July 3, 2022.)
