1. Site of San Ramon Grammar School Marker

Inscription. This school opened in November 1867. The all wood structure had two rooms with 13 foot ceilings and a bell tower. After it closed in 1949 it became a residence. The school was razed in 1960.

Erected 1997 by San Ramon Valley Historical Society.
