Original lamp post in active use for nearly a century in Liverpool, England, presented by the people of that city to the residents of Liverpool, New York as a gesture of enduring friendship. This gift made possible by Lord Mayor, Peter McKernan and the splendid co-operation of Guinness Exports LTD. and Heublfin Inc. This eternal light erected and dedicated May 30, 1962 in honor and loving memory of those who have made the supreme sacrifice in defense of our country.
