Inscription. Built in 1890 and renovated in 1936, the building originally served as the boiler house for the distillery. All of the steam heat used to power the distillation process, heat the warehouses, and provide comfort heat for the distillery was produced in this facility. Today, the structure serves as the site for the bottling of our premium small batch bourbons and whiskies, including Buffalo Trace straight Kentucky bourbon whiskey and Blanton's single barrel bourbon. Each step of the bottling process is meticulously carried out by hand, ensuring the highest quality from the barrel to the bottle.
