Prinsenschool
Prinsenschool De Prinsenschool, N.Z. Voorburgwal 282, werd op 1 aug. 1981 opgeheven.
In 1853, the school (named after the teacher/educator "Prinsen") was originally situated in a house on the Herengracht. The school then moved to the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 284, next to a boys only school, the "Brederodeschool".
In 1957, the Prinsenschool finally moved to the building of the former Sint Louis-ULO School at Spuistraat 239. Unfortunately, due to the depopulation of the city centre the school was later closed. In 2015 The Building Allocation Plan was changed to medi- cal services and it is now utilised by several different medical organisations and practices.
