1. Jefferson Marders Building Marker
Inscription. Built in 1797, this building was purchased by Jefferson Marders, one of Middletown's early merchants, in 1837. Two of the original, dry stack stone rooms and the arched fireplace remain as part of the foundation of the existing building.
