The Rogers Street Firehouse was constructed in 1883 in Irish Hill, a neighborhood of modest cottages. The two-story , brick structure has arched second floor windows above the first floor vehicle entries. The arched windows are set within two arched bands. A bold, metal extended cornice caps the building.
