Excerpt (in translation):(Submitted on August 4, 2022.)"In 1942 the Naarden mayor J.E. Boddens Hosang was fired by the German occupier and replaced by an NSB mayor. He was imprisoned in the Sint-Michielsgestel hostage camp. Immediately after the Second World War he was reinstated as mayor of Naarden.
The Jewish councilor Anna Adelaar-Fόrth, also a pioneer of Montessori education in the Netherlands, went into hiding, but was arrested at her hiding place, deported and killed in Auschwitz in May 1944 at the age of 60."
