St. Joan Of Arc. . Organized on 4 October 1908, St. Joan of Arc is the oldest Catholic Parish in Las Vegas. The first church, known as “Cottage Chapel,” was dedicated in 1910 and rebuilt at least twice before the present structure was erected. A memorial to the heroism of its Patron Saint and a reminder of the religious and cultural heritage of Catholics in Southern Nevada, this mother church of the City of Las Vegas has been declared a National Catholic Historical site in this 575th Anniversary Year of the Birth of St. Joan of Arc.
