La première solicitation pour la création d'un bureau de poste date de 1829. Cette requête fut agréée 43 ans plus tard, en 1872 C'était le temps où le facteur effectuait trois distributions o levees par jour. Après son transfert dans l'ancienne mairie, ce bâtiments conna plusiecis occupants (Gendarmerie, cabinet médical...).

In 1829, Roissy requested a post office to be opened. The request was finally agreed 43 years later in 1872. At that time, the postman made three deliveries and three collections per day. After its transfer in the old city hall, this building knew several occupants like the police station or the doctor's office.
