Regarding Cyprien Ragueneau. For the sake of clarity, the "Cyrano de Bergerac" referred to on the marker was a noted 17th Century French writer. Edmond Rostand, in his noted late 19th Century play of the same name, based the drama somewhat loosely on the life of the real de Bergerac, and also included a "Ragueneau" as a major character, as the owner of a patisserie.
