1. La «Maison Bernard» / The «Bernard House» Marker
This hotel-restaurant of the Lion d'Or - «Au lit on dort» (or in the bed we sleep) was built around 1880 on the site of an old inn «l'auberge du Grand Cerf». This hotel had about ten rooms. Stables were attached to the building. In the time of the stagecoaches, carriages, cabriolets, pataches, these stables allowed the animals to be fed and to spend the night under cover. On Sundays and holidays, there was a ball.
