. Radio Recorders was originally founded in 1933 and was located at 932 North Western Avenue, and moved to its historic location on Santa Monica Boulevard in 1949. In addition to RCA Records, many major record labels had their artists record in the studio including Columbia, Decca and Capitol. Radio commercial jingles were also recorded there. It would close in the 1960s when Radio Recorders merged with Universal. The building would re-open as a studio twice in later years.
