1. The Blacksmith Shop Marker
Inscription. Before there were hardware stores, every town had one or two blacksmiths. Blacksmiths made hinges, latches, tools, horseshoes. The "smith” heated iron objects red hot in his forge, hammered, and shaped them by hand on his anvil.
