Funded and constructed a bridge connecting the highway between the U.S. and Canada near Grand Portage, MN when the two governments failed to decide how it should be funded (1926).
Supported PolioPlus, Rotary International's program to eradicate polio worlwide.
Built a dental clinic on the South Seas Cook Island of Atiu (1989).
Initiated water well drilling projects in Ethiopia and Merida/Izamel, Mexico.
Built a medical clinic along the Amazon River in Peru (1992) and rebuilt when the river changed course (2009).
