The focus of this service area is youth, low income population and public service needs.

• Funded improvements to the Boy Scout's Camp Lawrie (1925) and YMCA's Camp Miller (1926).

• Provided summer camp scholarships for youth annually since 1939.

• Built two Habitat for Humanity homes (1996).

• Fenced the Community Soccer Fields (1998).

• Provided scholarships for the Sustainable Farming program.

• Provided lighting for Duluth's Icons: Aerial Lift Bridge (1976), Playfront Park (1991), The Depot (2001) and Enger Tower (2011).

• Donated body armor to the Duluth Police Department (2007).
