1. Rushing Hall Marker

Inscription. Rushing Hall was named in honor of distinguished Class of 1965 Troy Alumni, Sue and Lewis Rushing, of Birmingham, Alabama by the Troy University Board of Trustees on February 22, 2018. It was named in recognition of the Rushings' loyalty to Troy University and their outstanding career achievements in the fields of education and business.

Rushing Hall is, to date, the largest and most modern residence hall on the Troy university campus. It is the centerpiece of the campus, and its design and amenities reflect the importance the university places on having a welcoming and comfortable environment for students living on campus.
