Inscription. This Sherman tank is presented by the South Alberta Light Horse to the City of Medicine Hat in Canada's Centennial Year and is a memorial to the Men of the South Alberta Regiment who used them during the 1939 - 1945 War.

Erected 1967 by South Alberta Light Horse.
