1. Lafayette's Tour Marker
Inscription. On May 6, 1825, General Lafayette was welcomed in Clarksville as he descended the Cumberland River aboard the steamboat Mechanic.
 
Erected 2022 by Tennessee Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. (Marker Number 58.)
