1. Ye Olde Mill Marker
Inscription. Ye Olde Mill was constructed in 1817 as a sawmill and later, a gristmill. In the 1900s, Ye Olde Mill was a community hangout where locals could come to the swimming pool and skating rink.. Today, the Dager Family owns Ye Olde Mill, which houses Velvet Ice Cream's corporate headquarters, ice cream production facility, ice cream parlor, gift shop and a museum of milling history. Each year, more than 150,000 people flock to this Licking County landmark to enjoy a sweet taste of Velvet Ice Cream.
