The Historic Pataskala Town Hall. . Constructed in 1916 for less than $20,000, it housed the Mayor and Council offices, the Village Jail and Town Marshall's office, the Town Library, the Volunteer Fire Department, and a large room in the basement used as the school basketball court. On the second floor the 313 seat Sterling Theater was used by the Pataskala High School for many years for class plays, as a movie theater, and for public meetings. It was placed on The National Register for Historic Places in 1983. The building, seriously neglected and in disrepair, was renovated by the City and a local citizens group concentrating on the Theater.
