A strong suit of the village continues to be the respect and reverence to their traditions, both young and old. From the King's Ball, better known as Twelfth Night Ball, held every year on the first Saturday of January, to the Party in the Park held on Wednesday evenings during the summer, many love to gather and visit with each other to reminisce of times gone by. Many obstacles this community faces continue to be overcome with tenacity, kindness and acceptance.
