Perryopolis United Methodist Church
The first church to sink its roots in Perryopolis was the Methodist Church. Prior to 1832, services were held in a school house and in the Old State Bank Building. In 1832 a place of worship was erected opposite the present Veterans of Foreign Wars building. This present structure was erected in 1888. A parsonage was built soon after the dedication of the Church.
